Providence LPN - Program for All Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) in Seattle, Washington
Providence is calling a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support PACE (Program for All Inclusive Care for the Elderly, Day Shift, 1 FTE) at Providence ElderPlace in Seattle, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
Offering $5,000 Sign on bonus for external hires! This position will support our MLK PACE site in Seattle, WA. Monday-Friday; no weekends or holidays.
In this position you will:
Provide practical nursing, including bedside patient care, respiratory care, phlebotomy, patient education, and patient support services under the supervision of designated licensed staff.
Use critical thinking, decisive judgment, and your ability to make independent decisions.
Utilize software for the maintenance of patient records and communication with team members.
Perform duties in a variety of settings including the community, the Center, and the Clinic.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
Current Washington State License as a Practical/Vocational Nurse
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification
1 year long-term care or related geriatric experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
