Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior Business Analyst - One Revenue Cycle (ORC) to our location in Renton, WA or Portland, OR, or Liberty Lake, WA or Burbank, CA.
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst - One Revenue Cycle (ORC) to participate in a wide variety of complex financial analyses, including but not limited to revenue and operational improvement. Conduct financial and operational analyses, identify areas for improvement, develop and implement recommendations for process improvements. Provide meaningful reporting and analytic solutions to leadership. Interpret data and analyses to help business stakeholders in making operational and strategic decisions.

In this position you will:
Provide data and financial analyses to support business development and operational and strategic planning initiatives. Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions, judge accuracy, appropriateness and plausibility of reports and financial proposals.
Lead the investigation of complex issues or problems to determine the best solutions. Define process improvements and develops project proposals. Guide multi-disciplinary project teams through completion of each project. Insure that key metrics are defined, developed, tracked, evaluated.
Partner with all levels of the organization and act as an internal consultant and trusted business partner. Partner with business leaders to understand current workflows and develop future workflows that will result in operational improvements.
Act as local support and super user, working with departments to identify issues and root causes and process improvement. Provides project management support for leadership. Lead implementation plans to ensure stability of workflows and solutions.
Assist in the development of population, demographic, and utilization forecasting, historical trend analyses, financial feasibility studies, and quantitative analyses that allow the organization to assess and improve the performance of healthcare delivery.
Coordinate special requests for financial information to facilitate efficient retrieval of data and accurate reporting.
Ensure timely distribution of reporting and collaborates with Healthcare Intelligence and Decision Support to validate the integrity of the data.
Meet with customers to understand reporting needs, and coordinates with other professionals to deliver reporting that aligns with organizational strategies and that allows for analytical solutions. Act as liaison with operations for any reporting changes requested.
Participate in all mandatory staff meetings, in-services and training programs to ensure continued understanding of all policies, procedures and improvement processes.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field
Equivalent experience and education may be substituted, if the experience is closely and strongly linked to Business Analytics
Minimum of five to seven years of professional and analytical experience as well as project management and process improvements
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Experience in health care finance operations
