Providence Health & Services Supervisor Business Informatics - Revenue Cycle in Seattle, Washington

Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Supervisor Business Informatics PSJH to any of our locations in Washington, Oregon and or California.

We are seeking a Supervisor for our Business Informatics team . This leader will primarily focus on revenue cycle application modules and support the day-to-day functions of our business informatics caregivers to ensure their success. This team provides support of revenue cycle workflows to assist our clients to reach and maintain their financial performance goals. This role includes managing resources focused on Epic implementations for clinics and hospitals and the ongoing support, while fostering team development within the overall business informatics program. Responsible for day-to-day supervision, mentoring, and development of our application business informatics team, aligning with the department and IS strategic goals, and planning and monitoring utilization of resources. This includes collaborating with team and system leaders to successfully reach our goals in implementation and optimization activities, and production support within span of control.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with key business partners and other leaders specific to their customer service line and IS partnerships.

  • Support appropriate service delivery models for core application functions by managing the day to day applications team and it's technology.

  • Ensure that the Epic applications division supports IS services and systems effectively, and partners with business and clinical leadership to meet organizational objectives.

  • As appropriate, manages and/or escalates critical issues problems or delays in production, projects or other initiatives that have an impact on the customer in partnership with their manager or senior manager.

  • Responsible for working with key stakeholders including managers, senior leaders, and a variety of customers to support the delivery of business solutions that are effective and user-friendly, and support strategic initiatives, business and clinical outcomes.

  • Support ensuring partnership with Epic applications regarding the performance of respective applications and evaluates the performance of services on the basis of specific KPIs.

  • Support the departmental and IS budget expectations and goals through day to day management of the team and the expectations set for their specified application.

  • Accountable to oversees compliance with department specific policies and procedures for provisioning of Epic and other tools that impact all of PSJH.

  • Attract, hire, train, motivate, retain, and develop a team of first-rate professionals to perform the responsibilities of applications management.

  • Maintain internal operations in order to meet or exceed Service Level Agreements, Operating Level Agreements, and associated KPIs Including active participation in process improvement to service delivery, increasing value and promoting customer service and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services OR equivalent combination of education, skills and relevant experience.

  • 2 years Information Service Leadership or Healthcare operations experience.

  • 4 years working in an Epic environment OR 7 years informatics, operational, or build analyst experience in Epic environment and/or equivalent healthcare software environment

  • Epic Certification within 90 days upon hire
