Providence ADH Secretary in Spokane, Washington

Description:

Providence is calling an ADH Secretary (Spokane Adult Day Health, Days, 0.5 FTE) to Providence Elderplace in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

In this position you will:

  • Provide secretarial and clerical support to the management team, intake and clinical staff.

  • Provide and mails out information about the ElderPlace program (ADH) as needed. Making internal and external referrals as appropriate.

  • Act as initial screener, when appropriate, to determine a person's eligibility for the program.

  • Maintain mailing lists and databases for the program, including entering data and running reports as needed.

  • Utilize computer databases and manual systems to retrieve and analyze information and enrollment data. Creates and formats database reports as needed.

  • Prepare, assemble and maintain information packets and marketing materials, and assists with marketing events and mailings. Coordinates assembly projects with PPMC volunteer staff as needed.

  • Copy, collate and distribute materials as needed.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED

  • In Compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties. Fingerprinting may also be required.

  • Three (3) years experience in an administrative and/or progressively responsible secretarial position.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience with triaging information and referral calls.
