Providence Health & Services Clinic Manager II - Express Care in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Clinic Manager II ( Express Care Retail, Day Shift, Full Time) to Express Care Clinics in Spokane, Washington. We are seeking a Clinic Manager II who will provide ongoing leadership for the development and implementation of management and patient care systems to assure cost-effective and quality operations of multiple clinics. Ensures strategic integration of are and clinical practices to provide an optimal patient experience. Actively supports and incorporates the mission and core values into daily activities. Treats all others with respect and demonstrates excellence, justice and compassion in daily work and relationships with others.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Manages daily operations of multiple clinics or a large complex clinic without Manager I support
Manages staff; responsible for recruitment and /terminations and managing performance
Responsible for succession planning and career development guidance
Determines processes that affect assigned clinics - Recommends and implements policy, process and workflow improvement and changes for assigned clinics to address areas of deficiency in patients’ concerns, production, quality of care and financial analysis.
Successfully navigates through issues that impact/affect Providers, clinics operations, clinics compliance and business goals and understands their correlation and impact
Develops, recommends and implement strategic planning related to the clinics, the region, and the Express Care network; participate in marketing strategies to develop programs to enhance and further develop the clinic’s competitive position.
Develops and maintains an effective organizational structure to facilitate clinics goals;
Manages recruitment, retention, training, compensation, and performance management of all clinics support staff
Identifies and addresses patients’ concerns, complaints and patient satisfaction survey in an appropriate and timely manner in accordance with Express Care customer service guidelines
Analyzes monthly financial and operational reports for statistical data on patient levels, clinics productions and revenues.
Oversees accounts payable, purchasing/inventory, payroll, billing and collection functions for the clinics.
Oversees clinics participation and compliance in all Express Care programs Oversee quality and medical management programs for thelinic; assure compliance of same.
Assists with selection / onboarding of providers.
Develops and maintains effective and professional relationships with all patients, staff, and providers
Coordinates marketing materials and programs with business development staff.
Oversees the maintenance of the clinics building, offices and equipment.
Leads monthly all-staff meetings and actively participates in ongoing provider meetings.
Leads a staff to ensure that patient care services are provided in a timely manner which are sensitive to the patient's physical and psychological needs. Ensures compliance with established clinical policies and procedures.
Oversees communication between patients and the Billing Office, including financial arrangements and charity care requests as needed.
Ensures clinics compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and the rules of accrediting bodies; continually monitor operations and programs and initiate changes as necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned to your role.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in health related field or business or 4 years of progressively responsible clinic experience can be accepted in lieu of degree.
8 years experience in healthcare experience, physician practice management and/or clinical operations.
4 years of Managerial experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Strong knowledge of practice management systems and EMR.
Understanding of local integrated delivery systems of large, multi-state health systems.
