Providence is calling a Clinical Educator (Non-RN) (Providence Medical Group, Day shift, Full Time) to Physician Management Group in Spokane, Washington. In this position you will:
Consultation and Program Development:
Conducts targeted needs assessments in collaboration with content experts and managers prior to developing educational programs and instructional materials.
Meets regularly with RN Educator and leadership in assigned areas to ensure involvement and support of education.
Maintains an organized and systematic orientation program in collaboration with RN Educator and managers.
Develops a continuing education plan for assigned areas based on assessed needs.
Applies principles of adult learning in educational activities.
Monitors clinical and professional trends and participates in applicable continuing education.
Organizing and Decision-Making:
Organizes work to maximize productivity and effectively manage multiple priorities.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Health Care or related field or equivalent educ/experience
Active MA-C in state of WA upon hire
Current BLS - must be AHA accredited upon hire
3 years experience as an MA-C in an outpatient clinic setting
2 years experience in a leadership role in an outpatient clinic setting
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Active national certification / registration by AMCA, AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, or NAHP as a Medical Assistant upon hire
