Providence Magnet Program Manager in Spokane, Washington

Providence is calling a Magnet Program Manager (Nursing Administration, Day Shift, 0.5 FTE) to Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, Washington. In this position you will:
Lead activities leading to attainment and maintenance of Magnet designation
Provide leadership, coordination, and facilitation for an action plan that leads PHC ministries to obtain Magnet® accreditation and re-accreditation
Serve in the role of organizational expert related to the Magnet® Model Components
Promote quality and organizational excellence by leading cross-functional quality and process improvement initiatives
Facilitate and provide oversight for the preparation of documentation, policies and procedures and research activities related to acquiring and maintaining Magnet® designation
Provide expert consultation to individuals, departments, and ministries in support of research and Magnet®-related efforts
Manage the Magnet Program budget, ensuring planning, organization, and coordination of human and material resources necessary to support compliance with American Nurses Association Standards of Care and the Standards of Professional Performance and Magnet® designation
Facilitate Magnet education, caregiver professional development, application development and submission, annual reports, collaboration with nursing leaders and nursing staff, budget development and oversight, internal and external consultation, presentations, and mentoring
Serve as Magnet® advisor to the nursing leadership team, and within the broader nursing community, as liaison to the ANCC Magnet Office, and to PSJH system-level efforts
Support implementation of HFH and PHC initiatives by serving on select committees and work groups, and assisting employees charged with implementation of system-wide initiatives
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Master's Degree in Nursing or related field
PhD or completion of PhD within two (2) years of hire
Five (5) years experience in acute care nursing
Current Washington State RN License
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience working in a Magnet-designated facility
Previous success in obtaining Magnet designation and/or re-designation
Success in securing extramural funding for research
Primary authorship of peer-reviewed publications
Experience developing, conducting, and evaluating educational programming
Prior project management experience
