Providence Health & Services Maintenance Engineer in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Maintenance Engineer (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
*The schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday, 7:00AM until 3:30PM.*
In this position you will:
Perform a variety of activities of complex nature such as the installation, operation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of a variety of equipment including boilers, facilities equipment, compressors, air handling equipment, patient care equipment, and other related equipment.
Order parts as needed.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Must obtain a Second Class Boiler Operator License within 2.5 years of employment and must obtain a First Class Boiler Operator License within a time frame established by management.
Valid driver's license.
Minimum four (4) years of facilities maintenance experience.
Must have computer skills.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
One of the following licenses, certifications, or degrees:
Journeyman Electricians License
Certified Fire Alarm Technician
Backflow Prevention Specialist
Refrigeration Recovery License
Building Automation Systems (BAS)
AA Degree in Electronics or equivalent
High school graduate or GED.
