Description
The Medical Assistant works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A Medical Assistant performs all aspects of the Associate Medical Assistant role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. A Medical Assistant is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
This job posting represents all clinic Pediatric Medical Assistant opening in the Spokane Area (North, Downtown, South, and Spokane Valley). In the interview you will talk about which specific clinics have openings and what placement makes the most since. Any offer will be for a home clinic.
Clinics Include: Peds Oncology, Neuro Peds, Peds Cardiology, Peds Pulmonology

Required qualifications:
Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for the WA State Certification exam
Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
6 months of Healthcare experience
6 months of Medical Assistant experience
Preferred qualifications:
Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam
