Shift details: Part-time, 24 hours per week
Responsible for helping to maintain or restore maximum functioning of the patient's cardiopulmonary system in accordance with physician orders and/or departmental protocols. Required to exercise initiative in developing ideas or in responding to or adjusting problem situations. Supervised by the Charge Therapist/Lead Therapist. Work processes and assignments for patients of all ages frequently require the incumbent to interpret and apply operating procedures, technical standards, and/or protocols to problems of varying degrees of complexity. Reports to the Director of Respiratory Services.
Associate's Degree - AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.
Bachelor's Degree - AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.
Sufficient experience to enable the employee to work effectively in commonplace work situations and to provide a working knowledge of the principles, practices, standards, methods, and techniques of the Respiratory Care field.
Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
