Providence is calling a Registered Nurse - Clinical Staff Supervisor to Providence Medical Institute in Torrance , CA.
In this position, you will:
Oversee directpatient care in the clinic(s) as well as facilitating patient care flow
Works in closecollaboration with Director and Practice Manager to ensure competency ofclinical and non-clinical caregivers
Mentors and developsclinical caregivers
Ensure all assigned dutiesare performed in a manner that promotes team concept to reflect the ProvidenceHealth & Services mission and philosophy
Assist withmaintaining compliance to professional nursing standards as well as regulatoryrequirements, and will support providers and caregivers in delivering qualityhealth care to patients taking into account the patients’ individual physicaland/or age-related needs
Perform all duties in a manner which promotesteam concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission, philosophy andvalues
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current CA State RN license
Minimum 3 years clinical experience as aRegistered Nurse
Current BLS-HCP-Basic Life Support –forHealthcare Providers – American Heart Association (AHA)
Strong written and verbalcommunication, and interpersonal skills
Experience developing keyrelationships within an integrated delivery system such as hospital, healthplan and support departments.
Must have the ability to successfully work with
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Minimum 2 years experience in a progressiveleadership role in an ambulatory clinic setting or acute care setting
ER or Urgent Care experience
Experience with Electronic MedicalRecords, Windows, and Excel-based software preferred but not required
