Providence Health & Services Pharmacy Technician - Patient Service Representative *$5,000 Sign-on Bonus* in Tukwila, Washington
Providence is calling a Pharmacy Technician (Patient Registration, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Infusion and Pharmacy Services in Tukwila, Washington. $5,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.
In this position you will:
Support and incorporate the Mission Statement into daily activities.
Contact patients/caregivers prior to deliveries to review supply usage and needs.
Maintaining patient profiles and medication lists by documenting services provided.
Generate delivery tickets.
Coordinate delivery with patient, warehouse, and delivery service under direct supervision of pharmacist, nurse or dietitian.
Coordinate with nurse coordinator, nursing home and infusion clinics to maintain routine stock.
Process delivery confirmation when signed delivery ticket is returned to insure proper billing.
Arrange pick-up of sharps, pump and pole at time of discharge of therapy.
Participate in Q.A./Q.I. process.
Communicate effectively and appropriately with pharmacists, nurses, physicians, dietitians, billing, clinics, nursing homes and patients/caregivers to facilitate accurate, safe care for the patient.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Completion of approved pharmacy technician training program
Current certification and license by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy as a Level A Pharmacy Technician
Preferred qualification for this position include:
- Customer service experience
