Providence Health & Services Reimbursement Regulatory Reporting Analyst PSJH in Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Reimbursement Regulatory Reporting Analyst PSJH. This position can work 100% remotely and is open to Candidates residing in Alaska, Washington, Montana, Oregon, California or Texas.

We are seeking a Reimbursement Regulatory Reporting Analyst PSJH who will be responsible for learning and assisting with various reimbursement activities for the system that include evaluation, planning, coordination, and follow through to completion of such activities that include but are not limited to: Preparation of Medicare, Medicaid, and other regulatory reports; wage index reviews; Medicaid Eligible Days reviews; implementation of various cost based reimbursement strategies; preparation of DSH Surveys and Applications, and working within any reimbursement methodology related to Medicare and Medicaid that have reimbursement implications. This position will begin to work independently in the daily tasks. The Reimbursement Regulatory Reporting Analyst is responsible for working within all government reimbursement regulations in assigned work. The Reimbursement Regulatory Reporting Analyst is also responsible for assisting in meeting the needs of the functional team through preparing supporting schedules and financial analysis under the direction of the Reimbursement Manager and their designees.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Assist with preparation of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports and other regulatory filings, and the related work papers in accordance with all applicable regulations and PSJH policies under the guidance of the Manager.
Assists with the preparation and analysis of proposed audit adjustment impacts and additional documentation as required by the MAC or regulatory agency.
Prepares monthly workbooks and resultant journal entries to record third party settlements, and provider taxes payable and supplemental payments receivable.
Perform basic financial analysis and provide technical support for Reimbursement leadership, as requested.
Continuously monitors workload and methodologies used to achieve results.
Ensures that all assigned statutory filings are timely and accurate.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent education/experience.
2 years of demonstrated experience in the healthcare finance or related field.
- Work experience in consulting, in a multi-hospital system, or MAC.
