Providence Health & Services Office Assistant and Aide - Wilsonville Clinic in Wilsonville, Oregon


Providence is calling a Rehabilitation Therapy Aide - Wilsonville Clinic (0.0 FTE, Days) to Wilsonville Clinic in Wilsonville, OR. This position is on-call and you will be covering shifts for out-of-office caregivers. Shifts can start as early as 7am and end as late as 7pm.

In this position, you would primarily float between our Wilsonville, Bridgeport, and Mercantile clinics. However, there is potential to float to any of our clinics on the westside of the Portland metro area.

We are seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Aide - Wilsonville Rehabilitation who will assist therapists and therapist assistants with therapy treatments. Perform general department maintenance and maintains inventory of department equipment, linen and supplies. Work with multi-disciplinary team. Must be willing to work in a variety of settings. May perform office/clerical duties and assist others in the rehabilitation services department as needed.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Assist therapists and therapist assistants with therapy treatments:

  • Monitor patient reaction to therapy and reports significant changes or developments to therapist

  • Transport / escort patients to treatment/hospital rooms as needed

  • Assist in transferring patients between different surfaces as needed

  • Assist in general department maintenance by performing light housekeeping tasks on a frequent basis:

  • Change linen in patient treatment areas per department procedure.

  • Perform scheduled cleaning and maintenance of department equipment and supplies per department procedures

  • Order, stock, and perform inventory of therapy supplies and maintains inventory of equipment and linen


Required qualifications for this position includes:

  • Completion of PH&S Rehabilitation Services Department Therapy Aide training program within three (3) months of employment

  • American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) within three (3) months of hire

Preferred qualifications for this position includes:

  • Some college coursework

  • Experience as a Therapy Aide

  • Strong interest in therapy/health professions as a career

  • Experience working in customer service
